The Sustainability and Climate Action
Handbook

The Sustainability and Climate Action Handbook (Intellectual Output 1 of the project) is divided into two parts. The Sustainability and Climate Action Handbook: Background Information (IO1.1) provides information about key environmental issues and climate change; the causes and effects of these issues on ecosystems and human societies; and international initiatives and goals, such as the SDGs, European Youth Goals and the European Green Deal. The Handbook addresses young people and features sketches, infographics, and links to additional resources on climate action. It supports everyone to become aware of their potential to act for change as an individual, as a consumer, and as a part of a group or community.

The Sustainability and Climate Action Handbook: Background Information

The Handbook is currently available in English and is translated into five additional languages: Italian, Portuguese, Serbian, Croatian and Latvian.

Intellectual Output 1.1

The 2nd part of Intellectual Output 1 focuses on practical tips and creating solutions for communities, together with young people. It is addressed to youth workers and trainers and should be a guide and ground for the preparation, development, implementation and follow-up of workshops and trainings with young people to become activists against climate change. A combination of theory and practical exercises gives youth workers and educators necessary non-formal learning & teaching tools to deliver engaging, participatory and practice-oriented workshops, including exercises and tasks that provoke further reflection or inspire action.

The Sustainability and Climate Action Handbook: Practical Guidelines for Trainers and Youth Workers is currently available in English.

The Sustainability and Climate Action Handbook: Practical for Trainers and Youth Workers

This Handbook is addressing trainers and youth workers in English. It is additionally translated into Croatian.
